Making a mash from pop corn.
I've not done it but it would seem to me that it might be good idea since the carbohydrates have already been partially converted to sugars and popcorn should present more surface area to the yeasts.
Has any one tried it?

Use an air popper *not oil* (oil does funny business to the head ).
