Reading J. Palmer How to Brew pg 111 4.7 oz / 133 gr.
    I use DME for priming.

it might take a while longer for the yeast to consume the fructose part of the honey, but it should work fine. just give it a little more time. i tried priming with some local wildflower honey once and it seemed to add a floral note to the aroma. i also usually use dme for priming though.
      cheers!

thanks for the advice. i'm brewing a batch of wormwood ale, and i'm trying to take the edge off the bitterness, and i thought that might be a good way of going at it.
